A nation without a strong military and dedicated first responders would be in huge trouble. There would be nobody to protect the country from its many enemies. There would be no one to help during emergencies involving criminal activity, fires or other disasters and accidents. It would be impossible to stay safe in our daily lives or deal with bigger problems facing our society. In other words, life would cease to exist as we know it.

There are over 250,000 children of our U.S. Military and First Responders that have been affected from losing one of their parents to death or permanent disability while on active duty. The families of our fallen service men and women can be put under massive financial and emotional stress from these losses. The effects on the kids involved are often times even more profound and can have a lasting negative affect on their current education and future wellbeing.
